OCION Water Sciences Group received EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) product registration today for a broad spectrum of its products under the US Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. EPA registration further extends OCION product usage as a bactericide and algaecide for an even wider range of applications in the US than currently authorized by Health Canada. OCION’s application was granted without conditions.
For Founder and President Frank Varsveld, EPA registration represents a crowning achievement of the company and an unqualified validation of the remarkable attributes of its technology.”Today’s announcement is the culmination of many years of research and hard work. It’s truly an historic milestone for the company.”
The registration is the result of an exhaustive application process. According to CEO John Klippenstein, “We would not be where we are today without the tremendous dedication of Frank and the rest of the OCION team, our support in the scientific community and the loyalty of our international distributors and customers. EPA registration paves the way for entry into the enormous US marketplace and promises rapid growth for the company.”
